2 years agoHello!
1) Because of the .html in the URL the site thinks that it's a file for download. To solve this remove the .html from permalinks or modify js/ajax.js file: remove line #25-28 and line #45.
2) The theme automatically creates these image sizes to fit images perfectly in their positions, e.g.: in the classic blog (http://themeprince.com/themes/empireii/#/themes/empireii/blog-classic/) to deliver a small, perfectly sized image: http://themeprince.com/themes/empireii/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/canstockphoto8109381-211x140.jpg
Otherwise the theme would deliver the original full sized image, which has a larger size and therefore it eats more server bandwith and it takes longer to load for the enduser.
However if you want to remove this, in framework/theme.php remove line #91-94 and from that moment the theme won't create these image sizes automatically when you upload a new image.
